If you experience a life-threatening emergency we ask that you call 911 IMMEDIATELY.
Our receptionists are available at 8:00 AM to make appointments!
All calls to our nurses regarding illness/injuries are answered in the order that they are received. Pediatric Partners offers after-hours phone service for calls after 5 pm on weekdays and all day on weekends and holidays. Please call our office at 402-753-2900 and you will be connected to a nurse specifically trained in pediatric medicine. If necessary, they will contact one of our pediatricians or refer you to an emergency room or urgent care for immediate attention.
Important Information Regarding Appointments...
It is important that the receptionist is informed of what type of appointment you are scheduling. For example, a well-baby check is a different from a sick visit or a follow up medication visit. This allows the doctors the adequate amount of time to address any and all concerns during your appointment. Appointments must be made for each child you wish to be seen by the doctor so time is used efficiently, and our staff can stay on schedule.
We know your time is valuable, so we strive to minimize wait time as much as possible. Patients are taken to the exam rooms in the order of their appointments. However, in some cases others may be taken back before you, depending on available rooms and which provider they are seeing that day.
While it is rare that one of our physicians is called to the hospital during the day for an emergency it does occur on occasion. When this occurs, we try to contact as many patients as possible and reschedule if possible. If your child is ill and we call that the doctor has been called out of the building, we may ask you to either be seen by one of our nurse practitioners/physicians or to reschedule to later in the day. We ask your patience and flexibility in these situations. Please be considerate of others that have appointments scheduled after you and arrive on time for your appointment. We ask if you are running late, or you find that your allotted appointment time does not work in your schedule that you call the office as soon as possible to inform. If you arrive at the office more than 10 minutes late for your appointment, depending on the provider’s schedules, we may have to have you reschedule.
Pediatric Partners does not encourage walk-ins. Our providers run on a schedule, if you choose to walk-in, you may not be able to be seen.
